Our Mission
The Sober Truth was founded with a clear mission: to educate communities through lived experience and promote awareness about the realities of substance use disorder. My goal is to break the stigma surrounding addiction and make real-life stories a key component of a greater comprehensive effort to combat substance abuse. I aim to empower young people to make informed choices and reduce the number of adolescents adversely impacted by drugs and alcohol.

“I battled Substance Use Disorder for 15 years, starting at just 13. It affected every part of my life—my health, relationships, education, and even my freedom. My addiction completely consumed me. After a few life-altering experiences, I made the decision to get sober at 27. Now, I’m passionate about raising awareness and helping prevent young people in our communities from going down the same path.”
